The University of Kansas announced Thursday it has embarked on a groundbreaking partnership with Oak View Group (OVG), a leader in global sports and entertainment, as the stadium operator for the Gateway District and reimagined David Booth Kansas Memorial Stadium.

The Kansas Jayhawks (27-18-1, 11-10 Big 12) head to Stillwater, Oklahoma, to face off against No. 4/4 Oklahoma State in a three-game series from April 26-28 at Cowgirl Stadium. This will be KU’s eighth Big 12 Conference series this season. 

The Kansas Rowing team is headed to Raleigh, North Carolina, to compete in the Lake Wheeler Invitational on April 26-27.

Kansas men’s basketball will play at Creighton on Dec. 4 in the Big 12-BIG EAST Battle, the two conferences announced Thursday. The Big 12-BIG EAST Battle is a men’s basketball non-conference scheduling alliance, which is in its sixth year.

Head Coach Brandon Schneider and the 2023-24 Kansas Jayhawks hosted a season celebration on Wednesday evening in the Burge Union on KU’s campus.

Kansas softball fell to Kansas City 4-1 in a midweek contest Wednesday night at Arrocha Ballpark.

Sophomore Will King finished tied for eighth at -4 after a final round of 67 and was named to the Big 12 All-Tournament Team, while Kansas finished in eighth place at +11 in the 72-hole conference championship at Whispering Pines Golf Club.

On Tuesday night at Hawks Field at Haymarket Park, Kansas defeated Nebraska 9-4 to complete a season sweep of the Cornhuskers. The Jayhawks have won seven of their last eight games.

Led by under-par rounds from senior duo Davis Cooper and Cecil Belisle, the Kansas men's golf team is in a tie for ninth place at +13 with 18 holes left to play of the Big 12 Championship at Whispering Pines Golf Club.
