Student Athlete Advisory Committee The Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC) is a committee comprised of student-athlete representatives from the 16 KU Athletics teams. The purpose of the SAAC is to provide student-athletes the opportunity to communicate more effectively with University of Kansas athletic administration, coaches, and staff. It enables student-athletes to provide recommendations for the improvement of academic, athletic and social experiences. The committee encourages unity, common purpose and camaraderie between teams and among all student-athletes. It also encourages community involvement through service projects and fund-raisers. Full SAAC - This committee meets two days a month and is comprised of representatives from every team. Any student athlete is welcome to attend the meetings. Come join the excitement! Leadership SAAC - Out of the membership in Full SAAC, there is a Leadership committee that meets on the opposite weeks of Full SAAC. This committee directs the efforts of the larger group. Within the Leadership committee there are four sub-committees: External Relations, Internal Relations, Legislation, and Student-Athlete Welfare.
