Student Support Services at the University of Kansas, located in the Hale Achievement Center, serves as a resource center to assist student-athletes in various aspects of their academic, athletic, and personal lives.

Mission Statement
The Student Support staff focuses all collective resources in support of the academic, personal, and interpersonal development of each individual we serve. Therefore, we commit our energy and effort to these students as they pursue their undergraduate degrees at the University of Kansas and beyond.

Student Support Services offers student-athletes several avenues to success through tutoring, career planning, mentoring and community service.

Degree and Career Counseling
The Degree and Career Counseling program assists all student-athletes in exploring their career options, choosing a major and planning the appropriate course work for their degree. more

Helping Hawks
KU student-athletes are placed in Lawrence-area schools to work with students under guidance of the institution's staff. more

Kansas Athletics Tutoring Program
Tutoring is available to any student-athlete, regardless of scholarship status or sport. more

SAAC promotes communication between athletics administration and student-athletes and organizes community service efforts. more
