    ELITE CAMP     June 12-14
    Check-in will be from 4-5 pm in the Horejsi Family Athletic Center on June 12th

    Elite Camp is designated for the committed basketball player wanting to improve individual skills during the off-season. Players will be introduced to Coach Henrickson’s system and philosophies of the game. Emphasis will be placed on developing advanced skill according to position both offensively and defensively. All members of the KU Women’s Basketball Coaching Staff will be present at Elite Camp as well as current members of the KU team, high school coaches, professional players and college coaches from other universities. Elite Camp is recommended for girls entering grades 10-12 with one year of varsity playing experience. Enrollment is limited!

    INDIVIDUAL CAMP     June 22-25
    Check-in will be from 2-3:30 pm in the Horejsi Family Athletic Center on June 22nd

    Individual Camp emphasizes the development of fundamental skills. Daily instruction and station work are designed to encourage the mastery of basic skills. In addition, players are grouped according to age and skill level. Campers will compete on teams in order to apply their individual skills to team concepts. All members of the KU Women’s Basketball Coaching Staff will be present at Individual Camp as well as current members of the KU team, high school coaches, professional players and college coaches from other universities. Girls entering grades 5-12 are eligible for Individual Camp.

    JUNIOR JAYHAWK CAMP     July 14-17
    Check-in will be from 8-8:45 am in the Horejsi Family Athletic Center on July 14th

    Junior Jayhawk Camp is designed to teach fundamental skills and rules of the game to young aspiring players. Camp will include basic skill stations, 5 on 5 competitions and more. Camp will run from 9 am-noon daily. This camp is for boys and girls entering grades 1-5.

    JAYHAWK TEAM JAMBOREE     June 28
    One day Team Camp provides a professional atmosphere in which teams can compete against quality opponents. 4 game guarantee. Teams will be divided into competition pools to ensure quality opponents in round robin format. In addition, all teams will be instructed on NCAA compliance and the college recruiting process.     LOCATION—The 2007 Bonnie Henrickson Basketball Camps will be held on the campus of the University of Kansas in Lawrence, Kansas. Transportation to and from the Kansas City International Airport is available through Roadrunner Express.     FACILITIES— Facilities will include historic Allen Fieldhouse, as well as the Horejsi Family Athletic Center, Student Recreation Center and Robinson Gymnasium. Naismith Hall (located on the corner of Naismith Drive and 19th Street) will be the residence for Elite and Individual Overnight Campers. Meals will be served in the dining facility on lower level of the residence hall. All facilities are within walking distance of one another.

    ROOM ASSIGNMENTS – Roommates will be pre-assigned according to grade level. All roommate requests must be submitted in writing on the application form to ensure consideration. Every effort will be made to honor roommate requests, but they are not guaranteed. Only 2 campers will be assigned to each room. All requests MUST be received 2 weeks prior to the start of camp.

    WHAT TO BRING – The residence halls do NOT provide linens or towels for campers. Therefore, it is the responsibility of the camper to bring her own twin size linens, towels and other needed blankets for overnight stay. In addition, campers should pack t-shirts, shorts, socks, basketball shoes, an extra pair of shoes/sandals, undergarments, a lightweight jacket or sweatshirt (dorms are air-conditioned) as well as extra money for snacks or items from the camp store. Campers are encouraged to leave all valuables (including jewelry) at home. The Bonnie Henrickson Camp is not responsible for any lost or stolen items.

    CAMP STORE – The Bonnie Henrickson Camp Store will be available in the Horejsi Family Athletic Center. KU women’s basketball clothing, snacks and drinks will be available for purchase. Pizza and snacks will be available through the camp store each night. The camp store will accept cash and checks. Checks should be made out to the Bonnie Henrickson Basketball Camp.

    MEDICAL— All campers will be required to show proof of a current physical (dated after July 17, 2007) prior to the start of camp. A school physical may be substituted if dated AFTER July 17, 2007, and signed by a licensed physician. A certified athletic trainer will be available 24 hours a day during camp. He/she will assess all injuries and make decisions regarding the welfare of an injured/sick camper. Parents will be notified in case of emergency. Camp insurance is secondary to any personal health coverage. A copy of personal health insurance card will be necessary upon confirmation of registration.

    CANCELLATION/REFUND POLICY— A full refund for Elite or Individual Camp (minus the non-refundable deposit and any on-line registration fee) will be made only if a cancellation is due to injury and is accompanied by signed physician’s statement and made prior to the start of the respective camp. No refunds will be given for the Jayhawk Jamboree or Junior Jayhawk Camp. The $100 deposit will NOT be refunded for any circumstance. No refunds will be given to any request made after camp begins or to a camper sent home for disciplinary reasons. There will be a $25 charge for all returned checks.

    PARKING—KU Parking Services will be ticketing Monday through Friday (7am-6pm). To avoid a ticket, FREE parking is available in Lot 112 (south of KU baseball field) or in Naismith Hall (overnight residence for dorms) parking lot on weekdays. Pay parking is available in the parking structure north of Allen Fieldhouse. The Bonnie Henrickson Basketball Camp is not responsible for parking tickets.
