University of Kansas Girls Golf Camp
June 26-29, 2005 ELIGIBILITY Girls ages 10-18 are eligible to participate in camp. NCAA rules now allow graduating seniors to attend camp. CAMP INSTRUCTORS Erin O'Neil, Camp Director and Kansas Head Women's Golf Coach Playing Experience: Georgia ('93-97) Coaching Experience: Auburn (2000-04), Kansas ('04-current) ROY EDWARDS, Kansas Assistant Men's and Women's Golf Coach ADDITIONAL STAFF: Members of the KU Women's Golf Team CAMP TUITION Tuition for the Resident Camper is $600. This will cover room & board, play at Alvamar Golf Club, full-time instruction, 24-hour supervision, evening activities and partial medical insurance. Tuition for the Day Camper is $500, which includes all of the above except for room and breakfast. A deposit of $300, or the full amount, should be submitted along with application by June 2, 2004. $50 of the deposit is nonrefundable. The remainder of the deposit is refundable until Monday, June 14, 2004. The balance is due at registration. INSURANCE Each camper will be partially covered under a group accident insurance policy. A medical waiver will be sent along with the confirmation letter after receipt of application. FACILITY Located in Lawrence, the Alvamar Golf Club has been rated by Golfweek Magazine as one of America's top-100 public courses. In addition, there is an excellent practice area, featuring the newest addition to the Kansas golf facilities, The Jayhawk Training Center. The training center features a three-tiered green as part of a long par-3 hole. All facets of the short game can be addressed at the training facility.
