The Kansas Jayhawks will appear in NCAA Tournament for the second time in the past three seasons after earning an at-large berth to the 2024 NCAA Women’s Basketball Tournament. The Jayhawks are the No. 8 seed in the Portland Region and will head to Los Angeles to face No. 9 seed Michigan.
Kansas dropped Sunday’s series finale at Cincinnati by a score of 10-1 at UC Baseball Stadium. Luke Leto hit a solo home run in the seventh inning for the lone run of the game for the Jayhawks.
The Kansas Track and Field team opened their outdoor season at UCF for the Black and Gold Invite on March 15-16, where Gabrielle Gibson sent quite the message in breaking the program's 100m hurdle record in her debut, running a 13.07 to shatter the previous record of 13.27 (Ashley Brown, 2007).
Kansas junior Sara Roszak’s two-run single in the fourth inning paired with three KU double plays propelled Kansas to a 2-0 win against No. 19/13 Baylor on a windy Saturday afternoon at Arrocha Ballpark. Roszak collected two of Kansas’ three hits for the game.
Despite a quality start from freshman Dominic Voegele, Kansas fell 1-0 on Saturday afternoon to Cincinnati at UC Baseball Stadium. Kansas had an opportunity to tie or take the lead in the ninth with runners on second and third with two outs but was unable to score.
