With spring football underway, Kansas Football announced details for its annual Spring Showcase, presented by Kansas Lottery, which will be played on Friday, April 12 at 7 p.m. at Rock Chalk Park in Lawrence.

The Kansas men’s golf team will close out its regular season at the Hawkeye Invitational this weekend, April 13-14, in a 54-hole event hosted at Finkbine Golf Course. 

Junior KJ Adams Jr. was honored with the Danny Manning Mr. Jayhawk Award at the Kansas men’s basketball annual team banquet Thursday evening at the Burge Union on the KU campus.

Kansas will host Pacific at Hoglund Ballpark this weekend for a three-game series as it wraps up a seven-game homestand. The Jayhawks have a bye week from Big 12 play.

The Kansas Jayhawks (22-15-1, 10-5 Big 12) travel to Lubbock, Texas, to take on the Texas Tech Red Raiders (24-12, 4-8 Big 12) from April 12-14 at Rocky Johnson Field in KU’s sixth Big 12 conference series of the season and second-straight on the road.

Kansas freshman guard Johnny Furphy has been named to the Australian Boomers team for the Paris 2024 Olympic Games, Basketball Australia announced April 11.

The No. 54 Kansas tennis team returns home to host its final four home matches including a pair against ranked opponents. The Jayhawks will face No. 68 Wichita State at 10 a.m., followed by Houston at 5 p.m., at the Jayhawk Tennis Center on Friday.

The Kansas Rowing team hosts the Kansas Double Duel on Friday and Saturday, April 12-13. Due to inclement weather conditions, the Double Duel will now occur over two days, with racing beginning on Friday evening.

In the third annual Buck O’Neil Classic, the Kansas Jayhawks defeated No. 20 Nebraska 13-11 at Hoglund Ballpark. The Jayhawks scored 13 runs on 14 hits to improve to 3-0 all-time in the Buck O’Neil Classic.
