Position Title: Athletic Trainer Assistant - Football

Starting Date: July 1, 2010

Appointment: One year

Salary: $1,256.67 per month; Health & Dental Insurance; Malpractice Liability Insurance; NATA Dues, Kansas State Board of Healing Arts Licensure Fee and Annual Dues.

Duties: Duties include organization and supervision of health care delivery to student-athletes' under the supervision of Head Football Athletic Trainer. Responsibilities include injury prevention, evaluation, recognition, emergency care and referral, physical rehabilitation, and travel with football.

Qualifications:

Required: • Undergraduate Degree in Athletic Training, Physical Education, Health or related field. • Certified Athletic Trainer (ATC) with NATABOC • Licensed Athletic Trainer (LAT) with State of Kansas Board of Healing Arts or eligible. • CPR/AED certification

Preferred: • Masters degree. • Two (2) years experience at the collegiate level. • Football experience as a Certified Athletic Trainer.
