Athletic Trainer Assistantship
Jan. 21, 2010 Department: Sports Medicine Position Title: Athletic Trainer Assistant - Football Starting Date: July 1, 2010 Appointment: One year Salary: $1,256.67 per month; Health & Dental Insurance; Malpractice Liability Insurance; NATA Dues, Kansas State Board of Healing Arts Licensure Fee and Annual Dues. Duties: Duties include organization and supervision of health care delivery to student-athletes' under the supervision of Head Football Athletic Trainer. Responsibilities include injury prevention, evaluation, recognition, emergency care and referral, physical rehabilitation, and travel with football. Qualifications: Required: Undergraduate Degree in Athletic Training, Physical Education, Health or related field. Certified Athletic Trainer (ATC) with NATABOC Licensed Athletic Trainer (LAT) with State of Kansas Board of Healing Arts or eligible. CPR/AED certification Preferred: Masters degree. Two (2) years experience at the collegiate level. Football experience as a Certified Athletic Trainer.
