Dance Coach
Feb. 16, 2010 DEPARTMENT: Spirit Squad TITLE: Dance Coach APPOINTMENT: Part time FTE: 37.5% DUTIES: Responsible for 10 - 20 University of Kansas Dance Team members, organizing practices, game day and University events, teaching new and innovative techniques and routines. Conduct off-season camps. QUALIFICATIONS: REQUIRED: Four year college degree or a minimum of three years coaching experience at the collegiate level including gymnastic and dance training. Possess creativity, innovation, discipline, motivation, responsibility, maturity and a positive attitude. Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights and weekends. Ability to travel to away games as needed. AACCA certified within 6 months of hire. PREFERRED: Experience coaching teams at National competition plus a minimum of two years coaching at the collegiate level. AACCA certified.
