LAWRENCE, Kan. - Kansas Athletics is introducing a new rewards program for University of Kansas students.  Rock Chalk Rewards will reward students for supporting their classmates by attending athletics events.  The program is free and open to all KU students.

Students can earn points by attending regular-season home events.  Students will receive one point for each Kansas soccer, volleyball, baseball or softball event, and two points for each women's basketball game they attend.  Rock Chalk Reward points may also be earned at select cross-country, golf, rowing, swimming and diving, tennis, and track and field events.  Admission to all sports except football and men's basketball is free to KU Students with a valid ID.  Students who purchase the All-Sports Combo for football and men's basketball will also receive two Rock Chalk Rewards points.  The all-sports combo is available through the month of September at the Allen Fieldhouse ticket office.

The program contains six point levels; students will receive a gift upon reaching each level.  Gifts include a Rock Chalk Rewards tee shirt, free pizza, KU Crocs, gift certificates to local businesses and adidas apparel.  Students reaching the top three point levels will also be entered for a chance to win tickets to the Big 12 Men's and Women's Basketball Tournaments, two airline tickets to anywhere in the continental United States and a 42-inch flat panel television. 

Students can sign up for the Rock Chalk Rewards program at any upcoming home soccer or volleyball match, or by visiting the marketing office in Allen Fieldhouse (Room 227).  Upon registering for the program, students will receive a free key tag to carry on their keychain.  Students will scan their key tag at each event to record their attendance.

Starter (10 pts):                        Local Food Coupon

Captain (25 pts):                       KU Crocs + $5 KU Store Coupon

All-Big 12 (40 pts):                 $25 Gift Certificate + chance to win 2 tickets to the Big 12 Men's and Women's Basketball Tournaments

All-American (60 pts):              adidas apparel + chance to win 2 airline tickets to anywhere in the continental United States

National Champion (85 pts):   $50 Gift Certificate + chance to win a 42" inch flat panel television

The All-Big 12 drawing will take place during the February 27 women's basketball game vs. Texas.  The All-American drawing will be held during the April 29 softball game vs. Oklahoma, and the National Champion drawing will take place May 2 during the baseball game vs. Oklahoma.  Winning students do not need to be present during drawings.
