Mike Cummings

Michael Cummings started at Kansas Athletics in August, 2006 and serves as an assistant director of media relations. His main responsibility is handling publicity for the baseball team, while also serving as the secondary football contact. He has also worked with the soccer team in his time at Kansas. Before coming to KU, Cummings was a media relations intern at Virginia Tech, where he handled media relations efforts for the Hokies' women's soccer and swimming and diving teams and served as a secondary contact for the men's basketball team. Cummings was born in Fargo, N.D., where he attended Fargo South High School. In high school he played a year of varsity baseball. He graduated from the University of North Dakota in 2004 with a degree in communications. He resides in Lawrence, Kan. |
