Kristine Fowler

Kristine Kuhr Fowler joined the KU staff as the Assistant Athletic Director for Compliance in June of 2006. At KU, Fowler assists with the day-to-day operations on the Compliance Office and oversees the Compliance education program. Prior to arriving at KU, Fowler spent 3 years at the University of Miami as the Assistant Director of Compliance. Fowler is a graduate of the 2005 NACWAA/HERS Institute for Administrative Advancement and the 2008 NACWAA Leadership Enhancement Institute. Additionally, she is a NCAA Peer Reviewer, serves on the NACWAA Awards Committee, and the NAAC Communications Committee. Fowler earned a bachelor's degree in Business Management from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln in 2001 and earned a master's degree in Sport Management from Barry University in 2003. Fowler and her husband, Joseph, reside in Lawrence. They have a daughter, Kennedy, that was born in August 2009. |
