Cheryl Harrod

Cheryl Harrod joined Kansas Athletics in July, 2011 and serves as the special events coordinator for Student-Athlete Development. Her duties include assisting with Career Development activities, K Club events, and the management of community outreach projects. Prior to this she served as special events coordinator in the Williams Education Fund. Harrod came to Kansas Athletics after working on the KU campus since 1990. She served in three different positions, including as the alumni/development relations coordinator for the School of Education, the development director of the KU Endowment Association and the assistant director of the eLearning Design Lab. Before coming to KU she worked in the Baker University Alumni Relations office for four years. Harrod was born in Lawrence, Kan. and attended Lawrence High School. She earned a bachelor's degree from Baker University and a master's in education from KU. Harrod is a member of the American Association of University Women as well as the KU Alumni Association. She and her husband Les have two daughters, Emily and Megan. In her free time Harrod likes traveling, KU sports, art history and outdoor activities. |
