Matt Kuehl

Matt Kuehl joined the Kansas athletic training staff in July of 2010 with a main responsibility of working with the Jayhawk football team. Kuehl worked as a graduate assistant athletic trainer at Arizona State from 2007-09 and spent one year as a seasonal intern with the New England Patriots in 2009-10. In 2009 Arizona State was the co-Pac 10 champions and in 2010, New England won the AFC East Division. Kuehl earned a bachelor's degree from Minnesota State-Mankato in 2007 and a master's degree from A.T. Still University in Mesa, Ariz. He was born in Denver, Colo. and played football and wrestled at Luther Preparatory School in Watertown, Wis. Kuehl is a member of the National Athletic Trainers' Association, Mid-America Athletic Trainers' Association, Kansas Athletic Trainers' Association and the National Academy of Sports Medicine. His hobbies include exercising, reading and playing guitar. |
