Amy Leyerzapf

Amy Leyerzapf serves as an associate director for the tutoring program in student-athlete services. Her main responsibilities include assisting in day-to-day operations in the tutoring program and tutoring Olympic sport student-athletes. Before joining the athletic program, Leyerzapf was a graduate teaching assistant at Texas A&M University and a self-employed speechwriter for six years (1998-2004). She was born in Salina, Kan. and attended Abilene (Kan.) High School where she played tennis and ran track. She was a rower and graduated from KU in 1998 and received her master's degree from KU in 2008. She is working on a PhD from KU. |
