Molly Mackey

A KU graduate, Molly (Bachand) Mackey handles equipment operations for the Jayhawk women's basketball, softball, men's and women's golf, tennis and volleyball teams. Mackey joined the Kansas equipment operations staff in August of 2011, after serving the three previous years as an administrative assistant with the athletics department. Mackey was born in Fairway, Kan., and attended Shawnee Mission East High School in Prairie Village, Kan. She earned her bachelors degree from KU in 2007. While attending KU, she served as a men's basketball student manager (2004-2007). Upon graduation she spent one year at Colorado as an assistant equipment manager (2007-2008). Mackey is married to Justin Mackey, an academic counselor with Kansas Athletics and the couple lives in Lawrence. |
