07/27/2012 KU's Rock Chalk Video Wins National AwardRCV wins award for fourth time at IDEA Conference David Pedersen started at Kansas Athletics in August, 2000 and serves as assistant director of video services. His main responsibility is director and technical director of Allen Fieldhouse and Memorial Stadium in-house video board live-game production, while also creating content to run during the events and is part of the production team of "The Kansas Football Show" and "The Bill Self Show." He was part of the video department which won the 2002, 2004 and 2007 IDEA Golden Matrix Award for Best Overall Video Display at the Collegiate Level. Pedersen was born in Yutan, Neb. where he attended Yutan High School and competed in football, basketball and track and field. He graduated from Nebraska in 1999 and earned his master's from Kansas in 2008. Pedersen and his wife Jessica have three children. His hobbies include ping pong and chess. |
