Judy Pottorff

Judy Pottorff joined the athletics department staff as staff attorney in September 2004 and was named corporate counsel in January 2005. Prior to her arrival at Kansas Athletics, Pottorff was a lecturer in the history department at the University of Kansas concentrating in American constitutional and legal history. Before her move to Lawrence in 2000, she taught business law at Mount Saint Mary College in Newburgh, N.Y., and criminal justice at Jefferson County Community College in Watertown, N.Y. She was also a research attorney at the National Legal Research Group in Charlottesville, Va., and an associate attorney with Everett, Seaton & Miller in Manhattan, Kan. Pottorff is a graduate of Smith College in Northampton, Mass., and the University of Kansas School of Law where she was the managing editor of the Kansas Law Review. Pottorff and her husband, Jim, reside in Lawrence with their three children, Caroline, Matthew, and Catherine. |
