Ann Wallace

Ann Wallace is in her sixth year working with the women's basketball team and in her eighth year as a part of the Kansas Athletics Sports Medicine staff. She provides care for the KU women's basketball team and KU women's swimming and diving teams. Before working with the women's basketball team, Wallace served as a graduate assistant at KU for two years, earning her Master's Degree in Sports Administration in May of 2007. During her graduate assistantship she directed care for the KU swimming and diving teams and assisted with football coverage. Wallace completed her undergraduate degree at the University of Wisconsin-Madison in 2005. She earned degrees in both exercise science and athletic training. She worked as a student athletic trainer for the UW football, basketball, wrestling, swimming, and diving teams. Wallace was is a member of the National Academy of Sports Medicine and a member of the National Athletic Training Association. She also serves as a class instructor in the HSES department. She enjoys running, reading, and playing with her dog, KC. Wallace is a native of Cottage Grove, WI. Recently married, her and her husband, Steve Wallace, reside in Lawrence. |
