Josh Williamson

Position: Assistant Director - Kansas Relays

Josh Williamson joined the Kansas Athletics department in January 2010 working as the assistant director of the Kansas Relays. His main responsibilities during the year include Kansas Relays sponsorships and marketing.

Williamson also is in charge of meet operations for cross country, indoor and outdoor track, as well as track and field and cross country alumni communication.

Prior to coming to KU, Williamson was a marketing product manager at Hopkins Manufacturing from 2005-10.

Born in Hutchinson, Kan., he played football, basketball and competed in track at Buhler High School in Buhler, Kan. He then competed in track and field and football at Hutchinson (Kan.) Community College. He finished his college career at Kansas, competing in track and field and earning a degree from KU in 2004.

Williamson is married to Sarah. His main hobbies are playing basketball and travelling. He is currently enrolled in the marketing communications graduate program at KU.
