Kansas Jayhawk fans got their first look at the 2024 Kansas Football team on Friday night, as the Jayhawks hosted its annual Spring Showcase to Rock Chalk Park.

With spring football underway, Kansas Football announced details for its annual Spring Showcase, presented by Kansas Lottery, which will be played on Friday, April 12 at 7 p.m. at Rock Chalk Park in Lawrence.

The University of Kansas, Kansas Athletics and the KU Alumni Association announced key dates for the 2024 football season today, including the school’s 112th Homecoming Game, set for the weekend of Oct. 19 vs. Houston, and Family Weekend, scheduled for Sept. 28 vs. TCU.

Kansas football will be represented by 16 Jayhawks at Big 12 Pro Day on March 28-30 at Ford Center at The Star in Frisco, in the first-ever conference-wide pro day. The event will showcase Big 12 football talent at a world-class facility, providing maximum exposure for Big 12 student-athletes as they prepare for their professional careers.

A veteran offensive line coach, including six years under head coach Lance Leipold, Daryl Agpalsa was introduced as Kansas football’s offensive line coach on Thursday.

Following Kansas’ first bowl win since 2008 and back-to-back bowl appearances for just the second time in program history, Director of Athletics Travis Goff announced today that Kansas Football Head Coach Lance Leipold has signed an amended contract, reflective of his overhaul of the Jayhawks over his first three seasons.

In preparation for the 2024 NFL Draft, Kansas’ Dominick Puni and Austin Booker will participate in the 2024 NFL Scouting Combine from Feb. 29 – March 3 at Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis.

Kansas Head Coach Lance Leipold announced the hiring of 22-year coaching veteran D.K. McDonald as the Jayhawks’ new co-defensive coordinator/cornerbacks coach on Thursday.
