Senior Erin McNorton was unanimously tabbed the Big 12 Setter of the Year on Monday. McNorton's accuracy, consistency and decision making powered Kansas to a .260 attack percentage to close out the regular season – the best in program history. Her 2,955 career assists rank sixth all-time at KU, an amazing feat considering she has started just 63 matches in four years.
Junior BUCK Michael Reynolds recorded a career-best six tackles in KU's Sunflower Showdown loss to K-State. Among his stops were 3.5 tackles for loss, including a sack. Reynolds led the Jayhawks during the 2013 season with 6.5 sacks, tied for a top-20 mark in a single season at Kansas. The tally was the most since Jake Laptad also recorded 6.5 sacks in 2009. Reynolds finished the season with 37 total tackles, including 10.0 for a loss, the second-most stops behind the line of scrimmage by any Jayhawk this year.
