Women's Rowing - Kansas Jayhawks

The Kansas Rowing team hosts the Kansas Double Duel on Friday and Saturday, April 12-13. Due to inclement weather conditions, the Double Duel will now occur over two days, with racing beginning on Friday evening.

Kansas Rowing had five boats advance to the final stages of the Sunshine State Invitational, which took place on March 29-30 at Nathan Benderson Park in Sarasota, Florida.

Kansas Rowing is on the road for the first official competition of the spring semester, heading to Sarasota, Florida, to compete in the Sunshine State Invitational on March 29-30.

The Kansas Rowing team competed in a exhibition round of racing on Friday, March 22, against Oklahoma. The regatta began at 11 a.m. CT at the OU Rowing Exchange Boathouse.

Kansas Rowing is set to host a Prospect Day for women interested in joining the program. The event will take place on January 27th at the KU Welcome Center, which is located at 1266 Oread Ave in Lawrence.  

Kansas Rowing hosted the 10th anniversary of the Jayhawk Jamboree for its last fall race of the 2023 season on Saturday morning in Lawrence.

Kansas Rowing is hosting its annual Jayhawk Jamboree on Saturday, November 4, at Burcham Park in Lawrence, near the Kansas River.

Kansas Rowing is on the road and headed to New England to compete at the Head of the Charles Regatta on Saturday, Oct. 21, in Cambridge, Massachusetts. The Jayhawks are competing in the regatta for the second year in a row after a 20-year hiatus.

As part of Family Weekend at the University of Kansas, the Kansas Rowing team will host its inaugural Boathouse Battle, an exhibition event that will also serve as a celebration of the rowing family.

Kansas Rowing coach Carrie Cook-Callen announced today the team’s schedule for the upcoming 2023-24 campaign. The schedule includes four away races and three to be hosted by the Jayhawks between their home sites in Lawrence and Kansas City.

Kansas Rowing had 11 student-athletes earn 2023 National Scholar-Athlete honors from the Collegiate Rowing Coaches Association (CRCA).
