LAWRENCE, Kan. — Kansas football will host seven home games in 2015, including five Big 12 Conference opponents, according to the newly-released schedule that was approved by the Big 12 Directors of Athletics Wednesday morning. Kansas will open the 2015 season by hosting South Dakota State at Memorial Stadium on Saturday, Sept. 5.

In non-conference action, KU will host American Athletic Conference member Memphis on Sept. 12, in addition to the opener versus South Dakota State. It will also travel to New Jersey to take on Rutgers out of the Big Ten Conference, on Saturday, Sept. 26.

The 2015 Big 12 slate features a 10-team, nine-game, round-robin schedule for the fifth-straight season. Dates are subject to change as adjustments are expected to accommodate television partners’ requests. Television selections for the first three weeks of the season and special dates are due to the conference July 1.

KU will host Baylor (Oct. 10), Texas Tech (Oct. 17), Oklahoma (Oct. 31) West Virginia (Nov. 21) and Sunflower Showdown rival Kansas State (Nov. 28) in Big 12 play and will travel to Iowa State (Oct. 3), Oklahoma State (Oct. 24), Texas (Nov. 7) and TCU (Nov. 14).

Earlier this month Kansas Athletics announced season ticket prices for the 2015 season and the “loyalty pricing” campaign, which allows fans the ability to “lock-in” 2014 prices for the seven-game 2015 season, resulting in a decrease in per-game ticket prices. The “loyalty pricing” campaign is open to everyone and will end on January 18, 2015.  Fans can order today by logging into their ticket account at KUAthletics.com/renewals or calling 800-34-HAWKS.
