Kansas Cancels Creighton, Picks Up Oral Roberts

LAWRENCE, Kan. – Due to weather related issues canceling the start of Creighton’s series with Arkansas State, the Kansas baseball team has canceled its game against the Bluejays, Wednesday, March 12, and will instead play Oral Roberts, Tuesday, March 11 at 3 p.m.

The Jayhawks were originally scheduled to play Creighton at Hoglund Ballpark, Tuesday, March 4, but pushed it to the following week as a result of the winter storm that swept the Midwest. With remnants of that storm still lingering, Creighton had to move their series with Arkansas State, resulting in the loss of the contest against KU.

The added game against Oral Roberts will offer free admission for fans, while season-ticket holders and those that have purchased single-game tickets for the contest against Creighton, may save those tickets and exchange them for a general admission ticket to a future Kansas baseball game.
