LAWRENCE Kan. – After a successful weekend trip to Las Vegas where the Kansas women’s tennis team was able to pick up back-to-back wins over New Mexico State and Pacific, the Jayhawks look to extend their win streak as they head to Wichita State for a midweek match-up. Play is set to begin Thursday, Feb. 12 at 5 p.m. at the Wichita Country Club indoor courts in Wichita, Kansas.

After dropping the first match of the tripleheader last weekend to host UNLV, the Jayhawks bounced back with the help of the trio of senior Maria Belen Luduena and freshmen Madison Harrison and Smith Hinton. Luduena led the charge by posting a perfect 5-0 mark on the weekend. She was followed by Harrison who recorded a 5-1 mark and then Hinton, who followed close behind her fellow freshman and doubles partner with a 4-2 record for the weekend.
