Kansas leads in the all-time series versus Houston, 4-2, having won each of the last times they’ve met. The last match-up between the two programs was exactly a year ago on Valentine’s Day in Houston, Texas. Current KU senior, Maria Belen Luduena, is the only returning member from last year’s squad to pick up a win that dayas she defeated current over Houston junior, Maria Cardenas, in the singles.

SCOUTING THE COUGARS
Houston opened its 2015 spring season with a, 6-1, win over UTSA. Houston then dropped its next two matches against No. 61 BYU and No. 41 TCU. The Cougars picked up a win over ranked opponent, No. 70 North Texas, before falling to New Mexico. Houston is now on a two-game win streak after handing No. 57 Washington State its first loss of the season and beating No. 42 Washington with the help of senior, Elena Kordolaimi and sophomore, Despoina Vogasari who have both gotten off to a 6-0 start in singles this spring season.
