“We played the back nine much better but couldn’t capitalize on making up more ground on our second nine of the day,” Kansas Coach Erin O’Neil said. “Our first round is what really hurt us and put us too far behind from the get go. It’s crucial that we learn how to keep it at bogey at worse and eliminate the big numbers. We learned from our mistakes and made better decisions in rounds two and especially in the final round today.”
