Saturday's Big 12 Baseball Game vs. Texas Pushed Back to 6 p.m.

LAWRENCE, Kan. – With strong storms and heavy rain entering and exiting the surrounding area Saturday, Kansas officials, along with both the Kansas and Texas coaching staffs have elected to push back the start of the scheduled conference baseball game to the originally scheduled 6 p.m. start time.

The game was originally slated for a 6 p.m. start, but with the weather forecast, both teams decided to move the game up to 1 p.m. After arriving at the field and looking at the radar, both clubs decided it would be in the best interest of the game to move it back to the originial 6 p.m. start.

Now that the game will begin at the original time, Jayhawk Television Network will be airing the game live as planned. In addition, the ESPN3 production available to those living outside the coverage area of JTV will run live along with the broacast. Blackout restrictions apply. Please visit KUAthletics.com/JTV for more information on coverage areas.

Those wishing to listen to the audio broadcast can still do so on the Jayhawk Radio Network via KUAthletics.com/Radio. The originally scheduled broadcast on KJHK 90.7 FM will no longer be available.
