NCAA After the Game: Billy Mills

Kansas track & field legend Billy Mills is the subject of the NCAA’s latest “After the Game” feature, which celebrates the success of former NCAA student-athletes after college. Mills ran at KU from 1958-61 and went on to become one of the most iconic track athletes in U.S. history, becoming the first American to win the Olympic 10,000 meters, claiming gold in the event at the 1964 Tokyo Games.

Since his time as a student-athlete, Mills has steared his life toward helping others as a humantiarian and insirational speaker.
