Jayhawk Tennis Center Welcomes 2015 ITA Summer Circuit

LAWRENCE, Kan. — University of Kansas is the host of the third leg of the Central Region for the Intercollegiate Tennis Association’s (ITA) 2015 ITA Summer Circuit.
 
Play at Kansas begins Friday, July 17 and runs through Sunday, July 19. The tournament is being held at the Jayhawk Tennis Center located at 5200 Clinton Parkway and admission is free.
 
Top men’s and women’s college players, incoming freshmen and recent college graduates who are ITA members will be competing in open singles and doubles action for points in four weekends of competition in nine regions across the country.
 
Regional winners advance to the USTA/ITA National Summer Championships in Bloomington, Indiana, August 8-11.
 
This is the 13th year of the ITA Summer Circuit. Nearly 30,000 players have competed either in singles, doubles or both events at the regional level since 1993.
