Jayhawks’ TV Schedule Includes 25 games on ESPN Family of Networks

Kansas men’s basketball 2015-16 schedule in PDF

LAWRENCE, Kan. – The KU men’s basketball team annually garners as much television exposure as any in the country, and the 2015-16 season will be no different.  Every KU game, including the two exhibition games, will be televised nationally, including 25 games  on the ESPN family of networks (ESPN, ESPN2 or ESPNU). Those 25 games, in addition to six Jayhawk Television Network contests, will be available online on ESPN3 and the WatchESPN app.

In addition, CBS and the CBS Sports Network will each air one KU game. This marks the 24th-consecutive season, dating back to the 1992-93 season, that every Kansas men’s basketball will be televised.

Up to 22 KU games will be televised on either ESPN or ESPN2. Kansas will host Baylor on CBS on Jan. 2 at 3 p.m. (Central) and play at San Diego State on Dec. 22 on CBS Sports Network. The San Diego State tip time will be announced later.

For the third-straight season Time Warner Cable will air some 50 KU athletics contests – including two exhibition and four non-conference men’s basketball games – exclusively on Time Warner Cable SportsChannel in Kansas City and across the state of Kansas on the Jayhawk TV Network. ESPN3 will deliver those events nationally outside that territory. In addition to the Nov. 4 vs. Pittsburg State and Nov. 10 vs. Fort Hays State exhibition contests, the other Jayhawk TV men’s basketball games include Nov. 13 vs. Northern Colorado in the opening round of the Maui Jim Maui Invitational, Dec. 1 vs. Loyola (Md.), Dec. 9 vs. Holy Cross and Dec. 19 vs. Montana. Five of the six Jayhawk TV contests will start at 7 p.m.; the Montana game will tip at 1 p.m.
