- One of three McDonald’s All-Americans on the KU roster with the others being Carlton Bragg Jr., and Josh Jackson.
- Grew up in Delta, Nigeria and moved to Potter’s House Christian Academy (Florida) in ninth grade.
- Kansas’ first 7-footer since Jeff Withey (2010-13).
CARLTON BRAGG

- Named to the 2017 Karl Malone Power Forward of the Year Award watch list (one of 20) in October.
- Played in all 38 games as a freshman averaging 3.8 points and 2.5 rebounds.
- Is expected to move into the starting power forward spot replacing KU All-American Perry Ellis.
DWIGHT COLEBY

- A transfer from Ole Miss who sat out last season due to NCAA rules.
- Averaged 5.4 points and 4.8 rebounds his sophomore year at Ole Miss in 2014-15.

- Ranks third on the KU career 3-point field goal percentage list (minimum 200 attempts) at 43.8 percent.
- Named the Most Outstanding Player of the 2016 Big 12 Championship and to the 2016 NCAA Tournament All-South Region Team.
JOSH JACKSON

- Kansas’ third No. 1 recruit in the last six years (Josh Selby in 2010-11 and Andrew Wiggins in 2013-14).
- Preseason Big 12 Freshman of the Year and Preseason All-Big 12 Honorable Mention as voted by the league coaches.
- Grew up in Detroit and played his final two high school seasons at Prolific Prep in Napa, California, earning McDonald’s All-America honors.
MITCH LIGHTFOOT

- 2016 Arizona Gatorade Player of the Year.
- Chose his jersey number after wearing 44 when playing Pop Warner football as a youth.
LANDEN LUCAS

FRANK MASON III

- Kansas’ leading returning scorer from 2016-17 at 12.9 points per game. Also KU’s leading returner in field goals made (155), free throws (136) and assists (175).
- Enters his final season No. 42 on the KU career scoring list (1,132 points) and No. 16 in assists (389).
EVAN MAXWELL

- Started 30 of 61 games in his two seasons at Liberty.
- Averaged 10.0 points and 4.8 rebounds his sophomore year in 2015-16.
SVIATOSLAV MYKHAILIUK

MALIK NEWMAN

TYLER SELF

- Has played in 32 games during his KU career, including five postseason contests.
- Changed his jersey number from 11 to 20 for his final season donning the Crimson and Blue.
TUCKER VANG

- An invited walk-on who joined the team his junior year at Kansas.
- Father, Pete, was a tight end at Kansas from 1990-93.
- Mother, Tara; father, Pete; and uncle, Shawn, are all KU graduates.
LAGERALD VICK

- Played in 19 games, including eight Big 12 battles, his freshman season, averaging 4.8 minutes per contest.
- Played in three postseason games, including 10 minutes versus Austin Peay in the NCAA Tournament.
- Had an outstanding offseason according to head coach Bill Self and should vie for more playing time in 2016-17.
