Notes QUICK HITS

  • KU sent junior Summer Collins and freshmen Toran Ribes and Tatiana Nikolaeva to the 29th Roberta Alison Fall Classic in Tuscaloosa, Alabama, October 28-29.
  • Toran Ribes swept the first day winning both of her singles matches and one doubles match, but fell in the championship match of the Becca Baum Singles draw on Saturday.
  • In her first season, Toran Ribes owns a 9-2 singles mark after winning her first five matches (?) of the year.
  • In her fall debut, Collins lost her first singles match, but came back with a win on day two.
  • Toran Ribes and Nikolaeva went 2-1 in doubles play while Collins teamed up with Catherine Ragon of UAB to win a doubles match on the first day.
  • Overall for the event, Kansas went 4-4 in singles and 3-1 in doubles.
