Kansas at Texas Tech Football Game Moved To Thursday, September 29

DALLAS, Texas – The Big 12 Conference and television partners ESPN and FOX announced that Kansas’ football game at Texas Tech at Jones AT&T Stadium has been moved to Thursday, September 29. A kickoff time and television designation will be announced at a later date.
 
The change was made at the request of the Big 12 and its league television partners ESPN and FOX. The Thursday night game will mark the first time the Jayhawks have played on a Thursday since they hosted Kansas State on Thursday, Oct. 14, 2010.
 
The Jayhawks, under second-year head coach David Beaty, will open the 2016 campaign on Saturday, Sept. 3 when they play host to Rhode Island at Memorial Stadium. For season ticket information contact the Kansas Sales Team by calling 800-34-HAWKS.
