LAWRENCE, Kan. – Kansas football sprinted onto the Memorial Stadium field for practice No. 13 of its 2016 Fall Camp schedule Tuesday morning.

With two practices on the schedule for the day, KU was in action for just under two hours in the morning session. It opened practice No. 13 with some attention focused on field goals and point after attempts.

Following the special teams work, the focus on the field shifted to individual drill work. Next on the docket was a period working on the running game for both sides of the ball. Later in the practice KU split up into two fields for 7-on-7 and a second team period.

Mixed in between the team periods, KU again turned its attention to special teams with an entire period dedicated to onside kick execution and recovery.

The Jayhawks returned to Kivisto Field Tuesday evening for practice No. 14. KU spent the first 30 minutes of its second practice of the day focusing on kickoff coverage and kickoff return.

After the special teams portion of the practice session, the Jayhawks again worked on their individual skills by position group. KU closed out its final two-a-day of Fall Camp by working on one-on-ones and going through an extended team period under the lights of Memorial Stadium, including a two-minute drill.

Kansas returns to the practice fields for session No. 15 Wednesday morning.
