LAWRENCE, Kan. – The grind started early again Wednesday morning for the Kansas football team as the Jayhawks returned to the grass practice fields south of Anschutz Pavilion fresh off its final two-a-day of 2016 Fall Camp.

Practice No. 15 began with an emphasis on special teams with some time dedicated to field goals and point after attempts to open the session. The remainder of the first half of the practice was spent working on individual skill work and one-on-ones.

Following a short break, KU worked through a team run period where both sides of the ball focused on blitz situations. The Jayhawks then ran through 30 plays of 7-on-7.

The final segment of the practice session KU ran through 30 plays in a team setting, using both fields so the players could get ample reps.

Wednesday’s practice was the place to be as Kansas men’s basketball head coach Bill Self and volleyball head coach Ray Bechard each took time out of their schedules to watch the Jayhawks work.

KU will make their way back to the practice fields Thursday for the 16th session of Fall Camp.
