Date set for Kansas' tennis alumni weekend

LAWRENCE, Kan. – The Kansas women’s tennis team is gearing up to welcome back to Mt. Oread the past members of both the men’s and women’s teams.

 

During the weekend of November 18-20, tennis alumni are invited to attend multiple events.

 

The first, will be an event centered on the men’s basketball game vs. Siena that Friday at 7 p.m. On Saturday, everyone is also invited to tailgate on the hill and attend the football game against Texas.

 

Alumni will get the chance to see the brand new, $9 million indoor and outdoor facility, the Jayhawk Tennis Center.

 

“We hope all the former players and coaches of past teams will take the opportunity to come back,” said head coach Todd Chapman. “We’re excited to welcome them and hope it’s a great event and something we can continue to have in the future.”
