In an exhibition basketball game that raised over $1.75M for hurricane relief, senior guard Devonte’ Graham stole the showdown for Kansas with a game-high 25 points and 10 rebounds. Graham also added five assists and two steals, while shooting 6-for-13 from 3-point range in the 93-87 win over Missouri at Sprint Center Sunday.
  

 

GRACE HAGAN

Junior forward Grace Hagan notched her sixth and seventh goals of the season and also added an assist for five of her team-best 19 points. Hagan’s goal in the 61st minute sealed the 3-1 victory at Oklahoma, while her strike at the 53-minute mark at Oklahoma State tied the match at 1-1, before KU eventually fell, 3-1.
  

 

MADISON RIGDON

Kansas volleyball posted a pair of sweeps last week, and senior outside hitter Madison Rigdon was the catalyst. Leading the Big 12 in kills per set (5.33) and points per set (6.17) for the week, KU posted a sweep at No. 24 Baylor and another three-set win against Texas Tech. With a .397 hitting percentage on the week, Rigdon also totaled 12 digs and six blocks over the two matches.

After missing an entire season due to injury, senior transfer Despoina Vogasari showed no signs of rust as she advanced her way through the main draw singles bracket of the ITA Central Regional at the Jayhawk Tennis Center this past weekend. Posting six-straight victories, Vogasari finished runner-up and by doing so earned an automatic berth to the 2017 Oracle ITA Fall National Championships.
