Kansas remains in the top-20 for fourth-straight week

Lawrence, Kan. – After hosting a pair of ranked opponents to open Big 12 Conference play, Kansas moved up two spots and is now the No. 17-ranked team in the nation as announced by the Intercollegiate Tennis Association Tuesday.
 
The Jayhawks defeated No. 22 TCU, 4-1, Friday, March 10, marking the program’s first ever win over the Horned Frogs. Sunday, March 12, Kansas fell to No. 6-ranked Texas Tech in a hard fought loss, 4-2.
 
KU is joined by six Big 12 teams in this week’s rankings, including No. 7 Texas Tech, No. 8 Oklahoma State, No. 16 Baylor, No. 26 TCU, No. 30 Texas and No. 39 Oklahoma. Overall, 13 of Kansas’ 21 past and future 2017 opponents are ranked in the top-50.
