Jayhawks remain in the top-15 for the second straight week

Lawrence, Kan. – Kansas is now the No. 15-ranked team in the nation as announced by the Intercollegiate Tennis Association, marking the Jayhawks’ second consecutive week in the top-15.

Despite a 1-1 record in Las Vegas last weekend against two ranked opponents, the Jayhawks only dropped one spot in the week-by-week rankings. On Friday, February 24, Kansas faced and defeated No. 33 UNLV, 4-1. On Saturday, February 25, the Jayhawks were not able to rally against No. 24 Tennessee and dropped the match, 4-0.

Kansas has the weekend off as they prepare for Big 12 Conference play. The Jayhawks will host No. 22 TCU at 5 p.m., Friday, March 10 and No. 8 Texas Tech at 12 p.m., on Sunday, March 12 at the Jayhawk Tennis Center.
