Kansas in the top-25 for sixth-straight week

LAWRENCE, Kan. – Kansas women’s tennis is now the No. 22-ranked team in the nation as announced by the Intercollegiate Tennis Association Tuesday.
 
After blanking a pair of opponents this past weekend, the Jayhawks dropped one spot in the weekly rankings. Kansas hosted West Virginia Friday, March 24 and Iowa State Sunday, March 26 and defeated both teams, 4-0.
 
Kansas is joined in the rankings by six Big 12 Conference teams, including No. 6 Texas Tech, No. 7 Oklahoma State, No. 15 Baylor, No. 21 Texas, No. 33 TCU and No. 36 Oklahoma. Overall, 12 of KU’s 21 past and future 2017 opponents are ranked in the top-50.
 
The Jayhawks will take this weekend off before resuming Big 12 Conference play the second weekend of April.
