Ridling named Big 12 Player of the Week

LAWRENCE, Kan. – Kansas junior Harli Ridling claimed her third career Big 12 Player of the Week honor after helping KU to a 3-1 record last weekend, as announced by the league office on Tuesday afternoon.
 
The conference weekly accolade is the second for Ridling in 2017. The Sentinel, Oklahoma native batted .533 in four starts last weekend with a team-best three home runs and eight RBIs. She recorded a total of eight hits, including three homers and a double, while registering a 1.200 slugging percentage.
 
Ridling recorded a multi-hit effort in three of four outings last week, including a pair of 3-for-4 performances. She also registered a pair of multi-RBI performances, including four against Nevada in the series finale.
