Jayhawks finished at the ITA National Summer Championships

FORT WORTH, Texas – After three days of competition, Kansas juniors Anastasia Rychagova and Janet Koch and sophomore Tatiana Nikolaeva have finished tournament play at the Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) National Summer Championships in Fort Worth, Texas, hosted by TCU.
 
No. 2 seed Rychagova faced Donika Bashota, the No. 15 seed, and dropped the match, 3-6, 6-3, 10-6. No. 45 seed Nikolaeva was not able to top the No. 4 seed Lauren Proctor, losing the match, 6-3, 6-1.
 
Later in the day, the No. 4 seeded doubles team of Janet Koch and Rychagova fell to the No. 5 seeded duo of Ellyse Hamlin and Kaitlyn McCarthy, 8-4..
