IRVING, Texas – Senior All-American setter Ainise Havili is the first Big 12 Offensive Player of the Week of the 2017 season, the league announced on Monday.

Havili, the two-time reigning Big 12 Setter of the Year, started the season with three-straight double-doubles to earn Wolfpack Invitational MVP honors. Havili led the eighth-ranked Jayhawks to the tournament title with a 3-0 record after averaging 12.31 assists per set and 4.15 digs per set.

The Fort Worth, Texas, native opened the season with 54 assists and 22 digs in a four-set victory at NC State on Friday.
