Rychagova to compete in Lubbock $25K

LAWRENCE, Kan. – Kansas junior Anastasia Rychagova will compete at the International Tennis Federation (ITA) $25K Lubbock Tournament at the Texas Tech McLeod Tennis Center in Lubbock, Texas.
 
Rychagova, who is ranked No. 35 in the ITA preseason singles poll, will face Kianah Motosono at 9 a.m., in the qualifying singles draw Saturday with the chance to advance to the main draw, which is scheduled for Monday. She will also compete in the doubles main draw, which also begins Monday.
 
“I think this is a great opportunity for Nastia to compete at a really high caliber event,” said head coach Todd Chapman. “We are proud of her and her commitment to the development of her game. We look forward to following and seeing her results this weekend and next week in the tournament.”
