Kansas Athletics is launching an initiative to raise awareness and funds for cancer research. Jayhawks for a Cure will be a coordinated effort to bring Kansas Athletics student-athletes, coaches and staff together with the University of Kansas and Lawrence communities in the fight against cancer.

Jayhawks for a Cure will feature events throughout the year, giving fans multiple opportunities to support the fight against cancer. All funds raised by Jayhawks for a Cure will benefit The Breast Center at Lawrence Memorial Hospital and the KU Cancer Center.

• Kansas Athletics will donate $1 for every person in attendance.
• Coach Bonnie Henrickson will donate $1 for every KU student in attendance. KU students are admitted free with KU ID.
• Centerplate will donate $1 for every jumbo popcorn sold.
