Certainly, the fun you will have on game day is important, but there is so much more to the Gridiron Club. As a devoted Jayhawk fan, you likely share in our commitment to provide the very best we can to every KU student-athlete. If we are going to attract, train and retain the highest caliber student-athletes and coaches in the country, we need the best facilities and programs.

Our signature venues, Memorial Stadium and Allen Fieldhouse, are classic facilities, known nationally for great fans and extraordinary teams. These historic venues, along with facilities for track & field, soccer, baseball, softball, golf, rowing, and swimming & diving, require increasing levels of maintenance and improvements to ensure their competition areas remain up to today's standards.

Behind the scenes, improvements must also be made to locker rooms and training areas where KU student-athletes work tirelessly for hours each and every day. Just as our student-athletes dedicate themselves to representing the University of Kansas with honor and pride, the Gridiron Club will allow Jayhawk fans a significant and lasting way to show their gratitude and support.

With your investment, the Gridiron Club will raise funds to help with the construction and financing of projects that have a direct impact on all of our student-athletes. Here is a look at some of the facilities this project will help fund:

Football: Memorial Stadium (new club and renovations)
Basketball: Allen Fieldhouse (renovations)
Track & Field and Soccer: Olympic Village Facilities (new)
Swimming & Diving: Natatorium (new)
Baseball and Softball: Stadiums (renovations and additions)
Academic Contribution: Kansas Athletics will make a sizable contribution to the university's academic programs. Just as we strive to raise the level of athletics at KU, we are deeply committed to seeing the university's academic reputation reach even greater heights.
