Gridiron Club
How could the sports scene at KU get any better?
  • The Jayhawks won both the FedEx Orange Bowl and the men's basketball NCAA Championship in 2008. The success continued in 2009 with an Insight Bowl victory and an appearance in the men's basketball NCAA Sweet 16.
  • Our past accomplishments prepare us for unparalleled success in our 2009-2010 season ... expectations are at an all-time high.
  • Today, our female student-athletes compete at the highest levels in rowing, soccer, tennis, softball, golf, swimming and diving, basketball, track and field, cross country and volleyball.
  • Thanks to the generosity of many of you, Kivisto Field at Memorial Stadium and Allen Fieldhouse are among the best venues in the country for college sports.
  • Additionally, the Booth Family Hall of Athletics and the Anderson Family Football Complex provide world-class fan and student-athlete experiences.
It would be easy to take a breather, but now is not the time to rest. We must continue our momentum.

As in all walks of life, we face intense competition. Rival institutions are building great facilities. Other universities are recruiting top student-athletes. Other schools are striving to be national champions.

That is why, with the support of Gale Sayers, John Hadl and other great Jayhawks like you, we are creating the Gridiron Club. With your help, KU's sports scene will get even brighter.

The Gridiron Club is a one-of-a-kind, comprehensive initiative that will significantly improve all of Kansas Athletics' facilities, while at the same time reward Gridiron Club members with the best game-day experiences in collegiate football.

In the following pages you will learn more about this exclusive, exciting, legendary opportunity.

KU fans are the best in the world. Together, we've been through highs and lows. You've helped us achieve great things.

But, we can do more. Please take a moment to learn about the Gridiron Club. I'm confident you share my commitment to building the best facilities for our student-athletes and I hope you will join us at the Gridiron Club atop Memorial Stadium on game day.

Thank you and Rock Chalk Jayhawk!
