Accessible Seating

Basketball

Accessible seating is available in an area that is accessible by the south elevator. Tickets may be exchanged at the Athletics ticket office located on the southeast corner of Allen Fieldhouse beginning two hours prior to tip-off. Medical documentation is required for special seating accommodations. There are a limited number of limited-mobility tickets available for exchange. Persons with limited mobility or others needing special assistance to reach their seats should contact the Athletic Ticket Office at (785) 864-3141.

Parking/Handicap Accessible Parking
Most parking lots in the vicinity of Allen Fieldhouse require a parking permit. These are obtainable only through membership in the Williams Educational Fund. You can reach the Williams Educational Fund by phone at (785) 864-3946. Very limited public parking is available on a first-come, first-served basis in Lot 90, east of Allen Fieldhouse.

Please follow City and University parking regulations when parking on streets in the area. Handicap accessible parking is available for a $20 fee on a first-come, first-served basis in lots 54 (north of Allen Fieldhouse), 70 (south of Allen Fieldhouse), 72 (northwest of Allen Fieldhouse), and the parking garage (north of Allen Fieldhouse). Display your state issued accessible license plate or hangtag and have your personal identification card with you. Should these spaces be filled, additional handicap parking spaces are available in the Park and Ride lot located off of Clinton Parkway and Crestline (South of the Shenk Recreational Sports Complex). A handicap accessible bus will be available for the ride to Allen Fieldhouse.

Shuttle Bus Parking

Beginning two hours prior to tip-off, KU Parking & Transit will make available a shuttle service pick-up at the Park and Ride lot located off of Clinton Parkway and Crestline (south of the Shenk Recreational Sports Complex). Return trips will end 30 minutes following the game. Shuttle service for fans who use wheelchairs will be provided in the same manner as above. Limited-mobility fans will be allowed to unload and load near the south entrance to Allen Fieldhouse.

Wheelchair and Limited Mobility Seating

Seating for those in wheelchairs is available on the floor level at the north and south ends of Allen Fieldhouse. A limited number of wheelchair seats are available on a single-game exchange basis. Tickets may be exchanged beginning two hours prior to tip-off at the ticket office located on the southeast corner of Allen Fieldhouse. Patrons using wheelchairs are allowed one attendant seat that will be located next to their space.

Football

Accessible Parking
Accessible parking is available east of Memorial Stadium in Lot 94 and west of Memorial Stadium in Lot 59 on a first-come, first-served basis. Display your state-issued accessible license plate or hangtag and have your personal identification card with you. Enter at 11th and Maine St. or 11th and Mississippi St. and our parking personnel will direct you to the appropriate areas. If lots 59 and 94 are full, an accessible Shuttle Bus is available from Lot 90, on Naismith Drive across from Allen Fieldhouse, and at the Burge Student Union parking lot, Lot 72.

Handicapped/Limited Mobility Drop-Off Zone
Handicapped accessible and limited mobility shuttle buses will pick up patrons at the Burge Student Union, Lot 72, and at the north side of Lot 90, and will drop off on the southeast corner of Memorial Stadium or on the west side by the ticket booth (whichever side the patrons request). Should an alternate pick-up and drop-off point be required, limited mobility patrons can go to the same locations that the regular shuttle bus goes to and those drivers will contact the limited mobility shuttle bus to pick them up. To drop off a limited mobility or handicapped individual, the driver may enter at 11th and Maine St. to drop off the person by the main ticket booth and exit via the entrance.

Accessible Seating

Wheelchair seating is located in the black shaded areas on the seating map. Space is available for one person and an attendant. Wheelchair seating is accessible by elevators on the east and west sides of Memorial Stadium. Accessible Seating is available in an area accessible by the elevators. Medical documentation is required for special seating accommodations. Persons with limited mobility or others needing special assistance to reach their seats should contact the Athletic Ticket Office at (785) 864-3141. There are three elevators located on the west side of the stadium at street level and there is one elevator located on the east side of the stadium. Tickets for wheelchair or accessible seating may be exchanged beginning two hours prior to kick-off at any box office at Memorial Stadium.
